Hello!

My name is Otabek, and I am a passionate junior developer who loves new challenges and learning. I am from Uzbekistan and have been living in South Korea for six and a half years. I graduated from the Computer Engineering department at Seoul National University of Science and Technology in February 2025.

Since living in Korea for over six years, I have become well-accustomed to Korean culture and can communicate fluently in Korean. I can also handle basic daily conversations in English and am continuously studying to improve my fluency for smoother communication in the future.

From a young age, I have been deeply interested in digital devices, computers, games, and programming, which led me to the field of development. I particularly enjoy thinking creatively and creating unique and special things, which motivated me to learn web development.

Throughout my front-end learning journey, I have gained a deep understanding of core technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I have a strong interest in designing visually appealing interfaces and have successfully implemented various CSS techniques and responsive design approaches (Mobile First and Desktop First) in my projects.

Through React, I have mastered key concepts such as component-based UI development, one-way data flow, and efficient Virtual DOM rendering. I have also deepened my understanding of essential Hooks and state management. Additionally, I have experience building visually impressive projects using modern UI design tools such as Tailwind CSS, SASS, and Styled-Components.

I have been working on various projects utilizing technologies like Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and MySQL, which has helped me become proficient in backend development as well. Recently, I have been focusing on full-stack development using server-side rendering (SSR) with Next.js and TypeScript, aiming to grow into a full-stack developer. Of course, my backend experience is relatively limited, but I am continuously learning and improving my skills to bridge the gap.

Although I do not yet have professional experience as a developer, I am highly motivated to learn quickly and take on new challenges. I am actively building my technical skills through various projects.

I am eager to apply my skills in a collaborative team, contribute meaningfully, and grow alongside experienced colleagues. My passion for learning and proactive growth mindset have prepared me to embrace new challenges. I am committed to becoming a competent developer who not only excels technically but also thrives in teamwork, playing a crucial role in any development environment.
